Volunteers of the host city will be dressed in the single uniform and provided with maps

Volunteers serving the European championship on football 2012 in Kharkiv, will dress the green colored uniform.

It was informed today, on April, 11th, in the press center of the Kharkiv city council by the director of the Department on preparation to Euro-2012 on football Alexander Nechiporenko.

He said that volunteers will be dressed in a green T-short, a jacket and a cap. The volunteer should have a raincoat and a bag of the same color with him.

«We were choosing the uniform color making a start from those variants of the uniform – both basic and reserve – which the players of the teams playing in Kharkiv will wear. The volunteer should differ cardinally from the players, not to repeat their team colors», – specified Alexander Nechiporenko.

He underlined that the volunteer’s bag would contain an information brochure on 30 sheets, and also a map of the city of А1 format, where all objects of Euro-2012 and tourist infrastructure would be drawn. According to Alexander Nechiporenko, the map was printed in a number of 200 thousand copies, its cost has made 1,52 hrn. The map will be distributed among guests and fans of the championship for free.
