The number of hotel rooms grows

Solemn opening of the student’s hotel of the National university «Law academy of Yaroslav Mudry» took place today, on November, 17th, on 104, Pushkinskaya St.

During the conducting of the final part of the European championship on football 2012 the given hotel will be involved into placing the UEFA target groups. Its opening increases the room number fund for 402 units, being necessary for Kharkiv to place the UEFA family.

The opening of the student’s hotel was visited by Kharkiv city mayor Gennady Kernes, the chairman of the Kharkiv regional state administration Michael Dobkin, and also the general public prosecutor of Ukraine Victor Pshonka.

During an official part of the event the rector of the law academy Vasily Tatsy has solemnly passed a symbolical key of a hostel to the chairman of the student’s self-management of the high school Igor Tyamaev.

Besides, 18 students-new settlers were presented with authorizations to occupy a living space in a student’s hotel.

The guests and participants of the action made an excursion around the student’s hotel, examined the educational building of the institute of a personnel training for the Public Prosecution bodies and a winter garden of the hostel, and have also left memorable records in the Book of the guests of honour.

The inquiry. The construction of the first building of the student’s hotel of the National university «Law academy of Yaroslav Mudry» has been started in January, 2007 and finished in August, 2008. The construction of the second building has begun in 2006. Both of the buildings are united between each other by a passage, also the hostels are connected by the passages with educational and sports buildings.

The total area of 8-storey building – 11258 sq. m, of 7-storey – 12477 sq. m. Both buildings have only 402 rooms for 1135 places, including two rooms for invalids.

The hostel has a shop, a beauty salon, gyms, a pool and a winter garden.
